Harvey P. Sulkin of Lake Mary, FL passed away on Monday, July 3 at the age of 92. He was born on July 11, 1930 in Boston, MA and he grew up in Newton, MA. Harvey graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. He worked as a Jewelry rep for many years. Harvey was an avid New England sports teams fan and a member of Meridian Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his father Leo Sulkin, mother Ida Sulkin, and sister Wilma Dickerman.
Harvey is survived by his wife of 68 years, Francine Sulkin, son Gregg Sulkin and daughter-in-law Paula, daughter Teri Vachon and son-in-law Steve, and 5 grandchildren Matt Sulkin and spouse Chelsea, Alec Sulkin, Amanda Sulkin, Kelsey Vachon, and Kara Vachon.
He had a zest for life. He loved meeting people, travelling the world, and experienced many cultures in his travels. Harvey became the informal Mayor of Cupecoy Beach Club in Saint Maarten when he owned a home there for many years. He loved wine, fine scotch, animals, art, collectibles, and wore many hats of all his travels and sports teams.
The family would like to thank Marie Barnes for the care and compassion she showed our loved one over the past 2 years. She lovingly cared for him every day and he adored her.
