She graduated from St. Joseph’s Catholic High School in 1966, she lettered in Journalism and was an active member of 4H and then graduated from Bible College in 2011.
She was a military wife and homemaker and then later in life excelled in her career as a supervisor of insurance agents.
She was actively involved in her local parrish as a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Columbiettes and Prime Timers.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Mary Altfilisch, her brother Danny Joe Altfilisch and her sister Karen Ellis and her husband Robert Baxter III.
She is survived by her daughters Donna Lee and Ann Rames, grandchildren Mackenzie Lozano Baxter, Kayla Cullar, Breanna Cullar, and Savannah McGaughey, her great grandchildren Konstantin Baxter, Tobias Lozano Baxter, and Gideon Lozano Baxter.
The family would like to thank Geddes Marc Shaw and the Baxter Clan Jimmy, Gary, Steven, Allen, Jean, Barbara and their spouses for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial on June 15th 2023 at St. Judes Catholic Church located at 9405 W Florida Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80232. Rosary at 10am, Mass at 11am, directly followed by a reception in the St. Jude community center. Burial service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery located at 4400 Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO 80236 at 2pm.
