Donald Ray LeBlanc
July 25, 1942 – May 30, 2025
Donald Ray LeBlanc, age 82, of Lakeland, Florida, the husband of Elaine Rossignol LeBlanc passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Lakeland Regional Hospital from ALS.
He was born on July 25, 1942 in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana in a small town of Jennings, Louisiana with 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
He went to University of Southwestern Louisiana and went on to obtain his Master's Degree at Providence College in Rhode Island.
After college he enlisted in the US Navy going to Officer Candidate School in Newport Rhode Island. He was on the USS Halsey during the Vietnam War 1964-1966. He was stationed in San Diego, California. Donald was active for 3 years and in the reserves for 5 years.
After his active duty in the Navy he married Elaine and was married for 57 years. He taught math for 30 years in Coventry, Rhode Island.
Donald loved to read and travel.
