Dennis was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a gentle, caring man who would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He sacrificed his career as a firefighter and EMT to stay home and raise his children. He was a brave man, who would be calm and reassuring no matter what the circumstance may have held. His family always knew that he would be strong and protective. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed the many activities Florida has to offer. He was a talented artist who enjoyed woodworking, history, national geographic and had a love for animals of all kinds. Throughout his life he had many beloved pets from a horse named Poncho, a rescued squirrel, ferrets and birds too many dogs and cats.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice Care for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his honor to Orange County Animal Services.
