David Dave Don Weaver Sr.

Collected his wings peacefully while surrounded by family at Westminster Towers in Winter Park, FL Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He was 68 years young, born in Omaha, NE on December 28, 1948. David was raised by Lyle Sr. & Lydia (Briza) Weaver of Huntington Beach, California. While visiting family & friends in Nebraska in his late teenage years, he met the love of his life and wife of 48 years, Judy (Buresh) Weaver of Platte Center, NE. They have two children. David was a devoted husband and father, an exceptional pilot and a smart, witty man of many trades. He loved traveling and a good cigar. David served our country with the US Army from 1967 – 1969 and was a member of the American Legion. His greatest pleasures in life besides being very adventurous, was being a family man and a true friend, fishing, camping in the mountains and Saturday night car cruises in a classic beauty. David is survived by wife Judy, son David Jr. and daughter-in-law Jennifer, daughter Candace and the joy of one granddaughter, Ava. No one could ask for a more genuine, funny and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and great friend. David left a lasting impression on anyone who met and knew him. The family would really appreciate you sharing a couple of great Memories in the guest book.
