Charles Edward Alley, or “Chuck,” passed away on April 17th, 2023, at the age of 70 in Orlando, Florida. He was born on September 13th, 1952, in Marietta, Ohio. Chuck was a cheerful, kind-hearted, spiritual man who was a baptized member of Jehovah's Witnesses for 60 years.
During his younger years, Chuck enjoyed playing tennis and riding his motorcycle. He had juvenile diabetes for the past 50 years but took great care of his health. He was the recipient of a kidney transplant that kept him going for the past 26 years. Chuck was a people person and loved spending time with others. He graduated in the class of '70 from Lloyd High School in Erlanger, Kentucky. He attended the Florence Kentucky Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, and more recently at the Palm Lake Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Gotha, Florida. Chuck is survived by his wife, Sharon Alley (Kolb). They were married 43 years. He is also survived by his only child, daughter Naomi Ali and his son-in-law Randall Ali, and three grandchildren Sofia, Victoria, and Ryan. He is also survived by his brother David Alley, brother-in-laws R. Stephen Kolb and John Kolb, and sister-in-laws Gay, Sylvia, Shirley, Cyndi, and Billie Jo. Chuck was preceded in death by his father John R. Alley, mother Carol A. Alley, and his younger brother Jeffery Alley.
The Neptune Society provided cremation services. A memorial service for Chuck will be held in-person at the Palm Lake Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 2044 Hempel Ave. Gotha, Florida 34734, on May 6th at 2 pm. In-person visitation starts at 1 pm.
