Barbara Williams of Ashland, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on December 3rd at the age of 80 at the home of her daughter in Florida. She was born May 30th, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, to Harry and Margaret Trimmer. She made her home with her family in Ashland for the last 55 years.
She retired from National City Bank as a Personal Banker, and most recently, she was a bartender at the Ashland Elks Lodge # 1360. Barbara was a member of the Emblem Club for many years, and currently, she holds the office of Champlain for the Elks Lodge.
She is preceded in death by her parents and step father Roger Cunningham. Her husband of 50 years (Ed Williams). son (Mark Williams), sister (Georgiana Melaragno) and brother (Rick Trimmer).
Barbara is survived by her daughter Teresa (Mark) Cook, daughter Kim (Randy) Tomlin, brother Mike (Sandy) Cunningham. She has 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and many loving friends.
Barbara was very vibrant and enjoyed gambling, painting and shopping, you would never be surprised to see her at Volunteers of America. Most of all she enjoyed time with her family and friends.
At the Elks Lodge at 402 Center Street, Ashland, OH 44805 Street from 2-4pm on Wednesday, December 11th, family and friends are invited to attend a remembrance of her life along with an Elks Service at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family in Barbara’s name at the Ashland Elks Lodge.
