Barbara Ann McCann

She graduated from Thomas McKean High School in 1971.

She is a 20 year retired Navy veteran and later worked as an Administrative assistant with the Dupont company as well as other industries.

She was actively involved in volunteering for the local church; and she loved gardening, as well as caring for her dachshund, Brownie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph W. and Anna M. Salacki of Wilmington, Delaware; and by Gerald P. McCann, Jr.

She is survived by: Stepchildren Melissa Snyder, Gerald Paul McCann III (Vanessa) Brother Joseph M. Salacki (Maddalena), sisters Teresa F. Mazzella (Tom) and Catherine J. Santiago.

Grandchildren Isabelle Snyder, Joseph Snyder, Gerald Paul McCann IV Nephews and nieces – Josephine, Dominic, Gina (Kaulana), Jeffrey, Daniel, Samantha (Michael). Grand nephews and nieces - Vincent, Brielle, Kaydence, Rafaella, Louie.

She was a loving mother, amazing sister, and devoted aunt, as well as a best friend. She will be dearly missed. She was never without a smile and laugh, sharing her happiness with everyone she met.

The family respectfully requests that no formal service or gathering take place. Instead, they encourage celebration and cherishing of all moments shared with loved ones.
