Willie L. Henderson

Willie L. Henderson was born July 17, 1948 and passed from this life on May 6, 2025. He is with Jesus now and in pain no more. Irene, his wife, was with him until the end. Our Pastor Garland Moore was here to do a final Blessing for Willie. Special Prayer Warrior Kellen Moore and Linda are such a comfort to our family. All our church family are a Jack of all trades. He assisted with the Baptisms, did the sound system, microphones, and took care of anything else that needed attention. He will be missed, but we will see him again someday. I know that the Father has him working in Heaven.

Willie was preceded in death by his father, mother, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 4 children, and 2 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Irene, and two children: Pamela Henderson and Jim Valdez, 3 granddaughters and 6 great grandchildren. Three sisters: Agatha Matthews, Gaiter, Miss., Jessie Mae and Willie Grove, Hope Hull, Alabama, and Patricia and Anthony Hall, Pass Christian, Miss. Many nieces and nephews and so many beloved friends. With special thanks to our adopted daughter Evelyn Mirabal, for all you do. Compassus Hospice staff; especially Nurses Helene and Robin, also DOL nurses Brenda Carabajal, Marlena, Michelle Folds and Carole Cappacelli. All were so kind to Willie.

A memorial is planned for Willie on May 24th at 1pm at Immanuel Baptist Church, 917 Valencia Street, Milan, New Mexico. Pastor Garland Moore will deliver the message. A meal will be served following the service.
