Steven R Stone

Steve was born January 7, 1953, in Lake City, Iowa, the son of Roy W Stone and Myrtle (Tannehill) Stone. Steve was raised in Knoxville, Iowa. He entered the United States Navy in 1971 during the Vietnam war.

On April 28, 1973, Steve was united in marriage to Sheila Kay Norton, his soul mate.

Steve began his career in the water well industry after his Navy career in 1981. Steve’s career took him and his family to many different locations across the country.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his family watching old movies and listening to music. He loved his volunteer work with the church helping others within the community.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Roy and Myrtle (Tannehill) Stone; siblings: Robert and Michael Stone. Sister-in-laws Judy Stone and Karen Stone.

Those left to cherish Steve’s memory include his wife: Sheila, sons: Steven Stone, Joseph Stone and Buck Mobley; grandchildren; Brittany, Cory, Jocelyn, Sammatha, Austin, and Jade.; great grandchildren; Hadley, Hudson, and Mitchell; brother Larry Stone of Florida; sister Mary (Jim) Minard of Texas; and several nephews and nieces.
