Robert Harrell Burnett

Robert, Bob, was born in Woodbury NJ. He joined the Army and was stationed in Germany. Bob was very proud to have been appointed by his CO to supervise the construction of a bypass bridge. He married his sweetheart, Mary, and they had a daughter, Virginia, in 1961 followed by Robert, Jr in 1963 and Elizabeth in 1968. The family moved all around the Country as Bob was promoted to different territories as a Sales Rep and then later in the Plastics/Recycling business. A job he loved until he retired. Bob was very involved with the Episcopal Church both in New Jersey and Virginia serving on the Vestry and was a founding member of the Church of the Messiah. He enjoyed playing tennis, basketball and golf. After Mary passed away, Bob reconnected with an old girlfriend, Marilynn Pittman, and they spent time between Arizona and Virginia.He will be missed. He is survived by his brother, Stephen, and children Virginia and Robert. He has four grandsons Joshua, John Patrick, Christopher and Lachlan. Rest in Peace.
