Richard William Stewart

Richard William Stewart passed away, peacefully, on March 20, 2025, after losing his battle with cancer. Rick is survived by his wife, Margi Weir of Placitas, NM, and his five siblings, Ron (Christy) Skipper of Austin TX, Tom (Pam) Stewart of Sanford CO, Mary Stewart of Raleigh, NC, Sahndra Stewart of Sanford CO, Robin Rice and brother-in-law, Leslie Rice of Center, CO. Rick is also survived by two sons, both of Albuquerque, NM, Sean William Stewart, and Justin Mark Clay-Stewart, as well as a step-daughter, Lara Katler of Phoenix, AZ

Rick was raised in the San Luis Valley of Colorado, and traveled widely throughout the US during his lifetime. He was happy to have come home to his grandmother’s land in Placitas, NM. A celebration of his life will be held in Placitas, NM at 10 am on May 18, 2025.
