Richard A. Finlay passed away on May 31, 2023. He had just turned 90. He was born in Syracuse, NY on May 11, 1933. He went into the US Army at a young age and served for 20 years including the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired in Albuquerque to go onto a 20 year career in banking. He met his new wife, Alice Sullivan Finlay, about that time. They enjoyed sunny New Mexico, gardening, camping, and the food here. He also celebrated 52 years of sobriety.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 daughters, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters and brothers. As per his wishes, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's Hospital in his name.
