With love and solemn respect, we announce the passing of Raymond Apodaca Gonzales.He was a father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Ray passed away in July 2025, leaving behind a powerful legacy of strength.
Born in 1956, Ray lived a life marked by courage and service. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He later attended Western University and graduated with a bachelors degree. He retired from federal government and last held the position as an ATF inspector.
He is survived by his son Ray Gonzales and his Wife Renee Gonzales along with their children Tasia Wagoner, Isiaha Gonzales and Angelina Evaro, and great granddaughter Diana. He is also survived by his Daughter Deseray V. Gonzales, and grand daughter Mila Briggs.
Beyond his career and family, Ray had a deep passion for Corvettes, earning him the nickname “Sting Ray” among family and friends. His Corvette was more than a car — it was a symbol of his spirit: bold, classic, and unforgettable.
Ray’s legacy will live on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the strength of his children, and the countless memories his family will forever hold close.
A private family service will be held to honor his life and legacy.
