

Michael John Sanchez passed away on March 7th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, strength, and unwavering positivity. Throughout his life, he maintained a deep and personal relationship with God, and those who knew him admired how he remained optimistic, joyful, and grateful despite everything he endured.
Growing up as one of nine siblings, Michael learned early the value of family, resilience, and hard work. In high school, he was known for his athleticism, playing both football and wrestling, where he developed the determination and discipline that would carry him throughout his life.
Professionally, he built a successful career in sales, where his natural ability to connect with people and his positive spirit made him stand out. Later in life, he followed a deeper calling and attended natural therapeutic school, where he began practicing various styles of healing. Helping others improve their health and well-being became an important and fulfilling part of his life.
Above all else, he was a devoted father and a proud grandfather. He loved his children deeply and took great pride in being a dad to his son and daughter. Becoming a grandfather to his two grandsons brought him great joy, and they held a special place in his heart.
Michael will be remembered for his strong faith, compassionate heart, sense of humor, and the joy he brought to others. Even through hardship, he chose hope, gratitude, and love. His strength and positive spirit will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Nick and Mija, his two grandsons, Wesley and Adrian, his siblings, Mary, Dorothy, Karen, David, and Denise, and many other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
His life stands as a testament to faith, perseverance, and the power of a positive spirit. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Services are scheduled at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Joseph's Dr. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120, on Friday, April 17th, 2026. Rosary begins at 8:15 AM, Mass at 9:00 AM, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Michael’s life.
