Frank B Baca

Francisco (Frank) Benigno Baca passed away peacefully on August 12, 2023 at his beloved farm in Los Chavez, New Mexico. He is survived by his devoted wife of 71 years, Alice, son Robert (and wife Renee), daughters Geriann and Janell, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Michael. Frank was born on 2/13/1931 to Filomena and Refugio Baca. Frank was kind, humble and generous to all those who knew him. He followed his passion to teach and farm. He reminisced often of the many friendships and experiences serving as a navigator in the Air Force, educator, and farmer. Frank and Alice enjoyed hosting people in their home to celebrate friendships and life. You rarely left the Baca home empty handed. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Frank on September 16, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe mission church in Los Chavez (4 Guadalupe Road, Belen New Mexico 87002). Visitation commences at 9:45 am, Rosary/Eulogy at 10:15 am followed by Mass at 11am. Interment will follow at a later date at the Santa Fe National Memorial.
