He attended the University of South Carolina, where he received a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was in the Air Force at Wright Patterson AFB, then recruited by Sandia National Laboratories, where he served as a nuclear weapons safety expert for more than 50 years. During that time, he married his beloved Anna and raised two children. He built a life full of family and friends.
He is survived by his children Monica (& Michael) and Charles, grandchildren Kamryn and Jace (& Jayden), his nephew Michael Doster, many relatives from New York, and many loved ones in New Mexico.
He had a rare gift for making others smile with his unique humor and friendliness, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. He will be interred at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque.
