He is preceded in death by his father Clyde Douglas Babcock(1924-2017) and mother Ruth Marolyn Babcock (1926-1990)

He is survived by his brothers, sister, nieces, nephews and friends.

David was a kind, gentle soul. His mother described him as the most affectionate of her five children.

David’s sensitive nature became his greatest asset and biggest liability.

He lived in a world that sometimes did not understand his gifts - we fear that which we don’t know or understand.

David was such a sensitive man. He loved to paint pictures of animals and flowers and he found great comfort in the natural world with its honesty and purity of purpose.

He lamented in all of us the loss of our humanity.

We love David and we all have our own stories about him that we can hold as precious memories.

We will miss him.

A service in honor and memory of David’s life will be announced.
