Clyde Arvid Wildhagen

Obituary for Clyde Arvid Wildhagen: Clyde Arvid Wildhagen, age 88, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed away on April 11, 2023 after a bout with dementia. Clyde was born on November 13, 1934 to Clyde and Viola Wildhagen in Capetown, South Africa. Clyde moved to the U.S. as a teenager and after graduating from high school went on to study at the Metropolitan Bible School in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In 1954 Clyde met Jean Ruth Krause at the Bible School and the two married in 1956. Clyde and Jean went on to have 4 children; Donald, Dwayne, Rodney, and Kevin. In 1993, Clyde retired from his labors and spent his time with his beloved wife traveling the U.S. Mountain West. The two then set up a home for themselves in the northern San Luis Valley in Colorado and later moved to New Mexico. Clyde was devoted to his spiritual faith and his family. Clyde is predeceased by his grandson Corey Sexton and survived by his wife Jean Wildhagen; four children: Donald, Dwayne, Rodney and Kevin; six grandchildren: Jennifer Snyder, David Wildhagen, Ashley Christman, Jessica Singleton, Lauren Wildhagen, Sarah Wildhagen, six great grandchildren: Ethan Montiel, Harlie Christman, Bentley Sexton, Eli Montiel, Draven Sexton, Miles Snyder; and one sister: Myrtle Adams. No services will be held. Family will gather privately to celebrate his life.
