Atanacio Manuel Pacheco: Born on May 23, 1940 to the union of Lorenzo Pacheco and Laura Pacheco née Garcia, and Brother to Lawrence Pacheco (deceased). He passed away on May 5, 2025. A resident of New Mexico for most of his life, he always had a life of service: whether that be from his brief military service to his career serving the community working for Transit for the City of Albuquerque. Many would describe him as charismatic, jovial, plucky, virtuous and esoteric.
He was a true lover of the arts, from Music and Poetry to Literature and Film. A talented Green thumb, a believer of charity and just causes, and some would call him an automobile collector. He would love to spend time tending to his garden, studying art from other cultures, reading books and he love to tinker with and disassemble numerous vehicles. No matter what he was personally going through or whatever he had going on he was always one of the ones you could most depend on, if you needed help. He lived a wonderful fulfilling life, and will be missed by many. He leaves behind his son, Lorenzo Pacheco of Texas and a host of relatives and friends to continue to cherish his memory and legacy.
