I’m so sorry to hear this.  I was in school with Anita while we lived in Bartlesville,  she actually lived a few doors down from me. She was smart as a whip!  Rest in peace my childhood friend.

This makes me so sad. Anita was a wonderful person!! So smart, kind and talented. She was a  great athlete too. I remember playing little league softball with her. She was an all-star not only in softball, but in so many ways!! . RIP. ❤️

This was our last photo together sweet Anita. 
We had such a fun evening. We went to dinner at a local restaurant. We shared beers and laughter.  Then we went back to my house to the music room, where we blasted music from our youth, and I was on the drums, Anita on the bongos and our friend Dana  on the tambourine.  Nothing like this had been  planned, but what a joyous time we had! 
Always and forever.

It’s a very cool blessing to be able to say, “Hey! How close to I-40 will you be in an hour?” & your friend (Anita) you haven’t seen in 20 years replies, “I can be as close to I 40 as you want me to be.” Ice cream it is!
