Albert James Lucero
December 24, 1945 – August 29, 2025
Albert James Lucero, born on Christmas Eve 1945, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Anita; their daughter, Kristin (Anthony Vigil); son, Stephen (Rebecca); his brother, Max (Leslie); and sister, Virginia, along with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Richard James Lucero.
Al enjoyed his work at Sandia National Laboratories, as well as his volunteer work with Catholic Charities.
The Funeral will be held on Friday, September 12th, 2025, with a Rosary at 10:30 am and a Mass to follow at 11:00 am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. 811 Guaymas Pl NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Interment with Military Honors will follow at 12:30 pm, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
