Barry is survived by his brother, Doug Asmus Sr of The Villages, Florida, niece, Laurie Gargis (Brian) of Lexington, SC and nephew, Doug Asmus Jr.(Audra) of Apopka, FL He is preceded in death by father,Walter W. Asmus Sr., mother, Lillian Williams Asmus and brother, Walter W. Asmus, Jr.
Barry was born on November 5, 1947 in Miami, Florida to Walter and Lillian Asmus. He Graduated from University of Miami with a degree in accounting. He was self-employed as a CPA doing individual and corporate taxes.
Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
