Keith Richard Holdridge

Keith Richard Holdridge,94,of Champlin, Minnesota passed away on May 31, 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona with his family by his side. Keith is survived by his daughters Lori (Maurice) Holdridge, Julie Holdridge, and Vanessa (Don) Rotchadl as well as 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Ron Holdridge of Dubuque, Iowa. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen and his brother Terry.

Keith was born on 6/16/1930 in Delaware County Iowa to Vera and Jack Holdridge. He graduated from Iowa State Teacher’s College in 1951 and obtained a masters degree from University of Northern Colorado in 1958. He was wed to Mary Ellen Lanning on May 9,1954. They had three daughters.

Keith was a veteran and served in the army from 1952-1953.

Keith was a guidance counselor with Anoka-Hennepin school district. He was very active and enjoyed tennis, running, biking and basketball. After retirement, he enjoyed hiking in Arizona with family and friends. Keith was an avid reader and collector of quotes. He enjoyed music and would sing for anyone who would listen, including random people on the street, receptionists, and bank tellers.

Keith will be remembered for his love of pancakes, his loyalty to his family, his crossword puzzle skills and his enjoyment of nature and the outdoors,as well as his commitment to exercise and healthy eating. He had a long and well lived life. He was solid.
